so those are 7 persons that leaves this world in 2011.  and for this 2012 we’ll just have to guess what other person will join this list.

this year of 2012 is a year with a different athmosphere. well for one thing, I celebrate it in batam and not in bandung anymore. because for the past 6 years my new year always in bandung. and I am glad to be able to celebrate it here. I seldom updated this blog not because I am lazy but more to the fact that there’s just nothing interesting in my life worth telling. just like this girl that I had been dating before and I decided to dump her because she just costs me too much money. and I don’t like my money to be spend too much for something that has no use. you see, if you find a love based on money, then that love is bound to fail. when you fail to get any more money then the love would fail also. so it’s better to find a love that’s like romeo and juliet. so when you jump then she jump also

ah well, all in all 2011 is a year I am not looking remember anymore. there is nothing in 2011 that’s worth anything to me. better use all my energy to be better in this 2012.

so I decided to search for a serial key that would able me to use avira premium antivirus and this link provide me with enough instruction and work wonderfully. you just need to download it and open hbdev.key and choose the right key that you’ll get when you download the crack.

it works amazingly. and now I have a premium software on my pc.

so anyway, I had been trying to use ubuntu on my desktop pc and I find it difficult though. because it just won’t connect to my USB wi-fi dongle. I had been trying to search on the internet for some ways and yet to discover any workaround. I think I’ll just try to use opensuse instead and I’ll let you know how that turn out to be.

but what i did like about samsung corby is its battery life, for a touchscreen device you really can expect longer battery life when using this smartphone (well I don’t think I can call it a smartphone so I am just gonna call it a feature phone instead). the OS that runs in this feature phone is made from java so you can find many java applications can be run on this device. also there are many application that preinstalled on this device such as yahoo messenger and gtalk, also some social networking sites such as facebook and twitter. so you can find many standard apps in this phone.

all in all if you need a phone that has a bigger screen and  provide a basic internet experience then this is a phone for you. for me who really fed up with blackberry shorter battery life then I find this phones to be useful to fulfill my communication needs

when the lightning struck my home, there were a few devices that get broken. namely my home phone that’s connected to electrical wire and went busted but my other home phone wasn’t broken because this other phone only connected through the telephone line so it was spared from the surge in electricity. also I got 1 light bulb in my home that went malfunction and my desktop PC that’s also malfunction and can’t be turn on anymore due to the inside parts were fried because of the electricity surge. this is all because of the lightning that struck my home around midnight. and also because was home wasn’t properly grounded against lightning.

in this pic below is called adsl splitter, it is the part that’s connected to my home phone and adsl broadband. when the telephone line enter my home, the connection was split into 2 that is for home phone and for internet, and adsl splitter was tasked into performing that action that is to divide the connection. when the lightning struck, the adsl splitter get broken and fried. this is what the technician from Telkom told me. and I had to paid 50.000 rupiah to buy adsl splitter from him.

all in all now you should learn from my experience. when the lightning strike your home and your phone line get broken and your speedy went busted then the problem lies in adsl splitter. you should pop open the telephone box installed in your house’s wall and replace the adsl splitter with the new one that you already bought at the electrical shop. I already bought 2 adsl splitter for safekeeping in case the lightning strike my home again. because this is the second time my home has been struck by lightning.

at the first time the lightning strike my home, the only thing that’s broken was my speedy modem given by telkom. it was a cheap wifi modem and broken easily when there is a lightning. but then I buy the expensive wifi modem and to my amazement this expensive modem withstood the second lightning that struck my home the other day. so I guess my money is well spent.

so anyway I want to introduce you to this sweet girl I had been in relationship with, well I hope it would work out just fine for both of us. as being single is something that’s get really boring over time.

also tomorrow will be idul adha to which is a celebration of sacrifices in moslem calendar. in which many cows and goat will be slaughtered and the meats were shared to many people. I think I will keep my store open so that I still can get money. having a store is really a profitable business and good investment. you should try to have it too if you can though.

the wedding party located in hotel harmoni one in batam centre offered sumptuous delicacy for those attending the holy matrimony. there are ice creams, prata and other locals spicy food. all in all it was a great party. and I wish happily ever after for my friends who married there.

since the bride were my high-school friend so we kind of having a high-school reunion there at the hotel, attended by some of my former classmates.

the wedding uses melayu custom I think, well based on my observations of course.

I think this is the most expensive wedding party I ever attended in my life, not sure if I can attend any party that can match the spacious and luxuriousness of this one

in conclusion, getting married is a great step into having a stable life with the one you love so that you can create a family.

love is blind but marriage restored its sight.

I remember when the first plane struck the World Trade Centre I was in Batam watching some movies on channel 5, what was peculiar was that there’s a news ticker at the bottom of the channel 5 explaining there had been an attack at the WTC in new york. I was 14 at the time so I don’t really understand it. and then when I switched on the radio of 987FM, I heard over and over again the broadcast of the terrorist attack happening in new york. this make me understand the severity of the attacks because usually there were many good music being played on that radio channel but on that day they were none, replaced by the recorded news of the attack.

and after that I realize the world has changed, the goal of the US was now to eradicate terrorism to its roots and also to make the world a better place to live in and not long after 9/11 there was a night club bombing in Bali that make the severity of terrorist much higher than originally anticipated before.

we must understand the need to fight terrorism and also extremism, and yes Abu bakar Baashir is an extremist that involves in terrorism. He must be held responsible for his action.
